Re-Use and Recycle Hand-Sewn Star

December 2 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

This course is run by Christine Green.

On the course you will learn to hand sew this lovely six pointed star. It is made using the traditional template (English pieced paper technique) all ready for Christmas.

You will master covering templates accurately and then hand stitching them together so that they form a star. Embellishments can be added including buttons, beads and a handy hanging ribbon.

A pleasing project that can be completed in a day and once you have learnt this technique you could easily tackle something a little larger like a cushion, table runner or even a small quilt.

This course will be run by Christine Green. She takes a relaxed, fun approach and encourages her students to do the same whilst developing their techniques and style. She trained as  graphic designer and worked for the BBC creating title sequences and directing programmes about art and design. Christine is passionate about art and design and enjoys sharing this passion with her students.
